INSTRUMENT PURCHASING POLICY:
- Crystal singing bowls, non-made-to-order gongs, and other products shipped to you may be returned or exchanged, provided they are brand new and in all original packaging. There is a 20% restocking fee on all returned or exchanged items, with no exceptions.
- To be eligible for a return or exchange, the customer must submit the request in writing within five (5) days of the delivery date. Requests outside of the 5-day window are not accepted.
- Made-to-order gong sales are final, and the order cannot be canceled or returned once the invoice has been paid. No exceptions. This gong is made just for you.
- Any instrument purchased or picked up at The Soundbath Center is NOT eligible for a return, refund, or exchange. The customer is responsible for checking the instrument before leaving the center.
- In case of returns or exchanges, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges. Once the item is received and checked, the refund or exchange, minus the 20% restocking fee, will be processed. Items not in original packaging or showing signs of use are NOT accepted. Customers may then pick up the item or pay to have it shipped back.
- If a product arrives damaged, take photos and videos and contact us immediately, but at most 5 DAYS from the delivery date. Items damaged during shipping are eligible for replacement, provided we receive notice within 5 days of the delivery date.
- Customers must pay the invoice before products are shipped or eligible for pickup.
INSTRUMENT PICK UP AT THE SOUNDBATH CENTER:
- Some instruments can be picked up at The Soundbath Center.
- One open two-hour pickup window is offered almost every weekend, 8-10 am on Saturday or Sunday. Additional times may be available depending on the week.
- Pickups outside the pickup window can be scheduled at other times for $45 for a 30-minute window. This fee is non-refundable. One reschedule is permitted, providing a 5-day notice is given. If you can't make your scheduled pickup time and give less than five days' notice, you must schedule a new time for an additional $45.
MADE-TO-ORDER GONGS - TERMS & CONDITIONS
- There are no refunds or exchanges for made-to-order gongs.
- Most Gongland and Oetken gongs are made to order and are just for you. By placing your order and paying the invoice, you understand that you may not cancel the order, and no refunds or exchanges are given.
- The made-to-order gong generally arrives in 3-4 months but can take more or less time. Delivery time varies for each order, and we cannot guarantee any particular arrival time. By ordering the gong, you acknowledge the arrival time may vary, and a specific arrival time is not guaranteed.
- Made-to-order gongs may be picked up at The Soundbath Center.
- If picking your gong up at The Soundbath Center, it will NOT be in a box. Make sure to either order a bag for it or, bring a blanket to safely transport it in your car.
ABOUT YOUR GONG
All gongs are handmade, and each one is unique. It is common for these handmade gongs to show traces or marks from the process of creating them. To some people, these marks may appear to be "imperfections," but this is a natural part of the gong-making process and adds to the uniqueness of your specific instrument.
Gongs are not supposed to be exact copies of each other, nor should they have the unnatural look of a touched-up image or machine-made factory product. We personally thoroughly inspect each made-to-order gong before it is shipped to you, ensuring the highest quality. If there is something out of the ordinary in terms of aesthetics or sound, we will contact you before shipping. Other gongs are inspected by the individual gong company's warehouse crew before shipping.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT GONG SIZES
The gongs are measured in cm. However, because we use inches in the US, we label them as inches. The conversion is 1" to 2.54 cm, so a gong labeled as 36" is ordered as 90cm, technically 35.43" but is labeled as 36". With this, your gong is handmade, and there will be some variation in size (usually up to 1") depending on your gong's exact hammering and tuning.
SHIPPING:
- In-stock items are shipped within two days of receiving payment and usually arrive 5-7 days after (continental US orders).
- Expedited shipping may be available.
- International shipping is available for most products. Shipping time varies and is not guaranteed.
- All shipped products require a signature upon delivery.
- All shipped items include insurance.
- We do not ship to PO Boxes.
