The minimum instrument requirement is as follows:
- One 30” or larger gong made of either nickel silver or bronze. No wind gongs.
- Gong mallets - one large and two small or medium (made for nickel silver gongs).
- Five crystal singing bowls. At least two must be in the third octave and the rest in the fourth octave.
- Two crystal singing bowl mallets that allow playing on the rim and the side (you may need two different mallets).
- One of the following instruments:
- Bead drum (also called ocean or wave drum)
- Schlagwerk percussion tube
- Schlagwerk Raintower
