About Group Soundbath Player™ Certification Course

We launched the original Soundbath Practitioner Training in January of 2017 and continued with in-person courses through 2023. Our original format—two levels over two weekends—worked for some, but we noticed students often struggled to retain all the techniques, structure, and information. Even with a manual, it wasn’t enough.

In response, we paused in-person courses and set out to create a comprehensive, one-level online course. Throughout 2024 and most of 2025, we ran trial groups to test the new format, keeping what worked and refining what didn’t. The result is a clear, structured, and thoroughly tested methodology for learning how to play therapeutic-style sound baths.

This course goes far beyond generic “sound healing” or “sound bath” trainings. We don’t teach techniques you can easily find online. What sets us apart is our unique approach developed over 20 years of experience. When I (Jamie) started playing sound baths, there were no specialized trainings or workshops. I had to develop the sound bath services that I offered through trial and error. After playing thousands of group sound baths, private sessions, and personal practice, Robert and I developed a clear and structured methodology for playing therapeutic-style sound baths.

We simplified the learning process into one comprehensive course, replacing the old multi-level format. Many people who have taken other trainings still ask questions like:

  • What do you do if someone is snoring during a sound bath?
  • How much should I charge?
  • How do I structure a private session, and should I place bowls on the body?
  • Which gong or crystal singing bowl is best?
  • Where do I buy high-quality instruments?

Our goal is to answer all of these questions (and many more), providing you with everything you need to build a successful business offering sound baths. In this course, you’ll get:

  • Knowledge about sound baths and the science behind them so that you can speak confidently with participants.
  • A structured approach for playing, with specific techniques tested in over 4,000 group sessions.
  • Methods that allow you to play multiple sound baths per day without strain.
  • Guidance on selecting the right instruments and distinguishing high-quality from lower-quality gongs and crystal bowls.
  • The ability to expand your setup over time with confidence.
  • The knowledge to plan and execute full sound bath events independently.

For those who choose the Advantage option, you’ll also:

  • Personal coaching on the playing techniques to ensure you are doing them correctly.
  • Learn how to integrate new crystal bowls into your setup.
  • Access audio recordings with drills and full sound bath sessions as templates to follow.

This course provides you with everything you need—technique, structure, knowledge, and confidence—to offer professional therapeutic sound baths successfully.
