INSTRUMENT PURCHASING POLICY
By paying the invoice, you agree that all the policies outlined below apply immediately upon payment. This includes terms for returns, exchanges, shipping, and pickup, regardless of when the product is received or picked up.
- You can return or exchange most crystal singing bowls (except pre-ordered ones), non-made-to-order gongs, and other items if they are unused, in original packaging, and within 5 days of delivery. A 20% restocking fee applies to all returns and exchanges.
- Some items may not be returned, exchanged, or canceled. This includes any pre-ordered or made-to-order instrument.
- Made-to-order gongs cannot be returned, canceled, or refunded. Once the invoice is paid, the sale is final.
- Items picked up at The Soundbath Center cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded. Check your items before leaving.
- Shipping costs for returns/exchanges are the buyer's responsibility. Refunds are issued (minus 20% restocking fee) once we inspect the item. Items not in original packaging or showing signs of use are not accepted.
- If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 5 days with photos and videos.
INSTRUMENT PICKUP AT THE SOUNDBATH CENTER

- Pickup is available on weekends during set hours.
- If you need a different time, a $45 fee applies for a 30-minute pickup window.
- Missed appointments are non-refundable. One reschedule is allowed with 3 days' notice.
MADE-TO-ORDER GONGS – TERMS & CONDITIONS
- No refunds or exchanges on made-to-order gongs (e.g., Gongland, Alchemy and Oetken gongs).
- Delivery takes 3-4 months, but this may vary. Specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
- Pickup requires a gong bag or protective cover, as gongs don’t come in boxes. If you don't order a gong bag you will want to bring a blanket or other wrapping to protect it during transport.
ABOUT YOUR GONG
- All gongs are handmade, and each one is unique. Marks from the manufacturing process are normal and add to the character of your instrument.
- Gongs are measured in centimeters and converted to inches for US customers. Due to the handcrafting process, slight variations in size may occur (up to 1").
SHIPPING
- In-stock items ship within 2 business days of payment and usually arrive in 5-7 business days (continental US).
- Expedited and international shipping are available but not guaranteed.
- All shipments require a signature upon delivery.
STORAGE FEE
- If an instrument, such as a gong, is held for more than 7 days after the scheduled pickup or shipping date (due to an unpaid shipping invoice or missed pickup), a storage fee of $75 per week will apply. This fee must be paid before the gong is released.
