Payment Methods
All products are paid via invoice through Beyond Percussion. Made-On-Request (MOR) gongs can be paid by ACH, wire transfer, or cash. All other products can be paid by credit card, check, ACH, wire transfer, or cash.
Invoice Payment
- Instrument orders are all paid via invoice from Beyond Percussion.
- Invoices are canceled if not paid within 7 days.
- Pay your invoice as soon as possible, as instruments are not held until they are paid for.
- If an instrument sells out before you pay the invoice, you will be notified of the closest available options.
Return Policy
Beyond Percussion accepts returns for most unused, undamaged products in their original packaging, provided a return request is submitted within five (5) calendar days of delivery. A restocking fee of 20% of the item’s purchase price (excluding taxes and shipping costs) will be applied to all accepted returns. Certain items, including Made-On-Request gongs, special-order singing bowls, and items picked up in person, are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or canceled. Customers picking up items in person are responsible for inspecting them before leaving the premises, as no returns, exchanges, or refunds will be offered thereafter.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Credit card processing fees are non-refundable. Refunds, less the 20% restocking fee (calculated on the item’s purchase price, excluding taxes and shipping costs), original shipping costs, and any applicable credit card processing fees, will be processed only after the returned item is received, inspected, and confirmed to be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Only brand new, unused items can be returned. Items showing signs of use, damage, or lacking original packaging will not be accepted for return.
Within five (5) business days of assessing a returned item, Beyond Percussion will notify the customer whether the return is accepted. If accepted, a refund or exchange will be processed within an additional five (5) business days. If the return is not accepted, the customer will be notified, and the item may be shipped back to them at their expense, with shipping arrangements to be completed within thirty (30) calendar days of notification. Failure to pay the return shipping invoice within thirty (30) calendar days of issuance will result in forfeiture of the item, with no refund or credit provided.
Beyond Percussion reserves the right to review and approve all returns to ensure compliance with this policy. All decisions regarding returns are at the sole discretion of Beyond Percussion.
Damaged or Defective Items
If an item arrives damaged or defective, customers must file a claim with Beyond Percussion within five (5) calendar days of the delivery date by submitting a written notification along with clear photos of the damaged or defective item, its packaging, and the shipping label. Beyond Percussion will review the claim and, at its sole discretion, may offer a repair, replacement, or refund, subject to product availability and verification of the claim. Failure to submit a complete claim within five (5) calendar days may result in denial of the claim, with no refund, replacement, or repair provided for the product.
Made-On-Request (MOR) Orders Terms & Conditions
Handcrafted Gongs and Other Instruments
All gongs and other handmade instruments, such as those produced by Schlagwerk, are individually crafted, resulting in unique characteristics. Manufacturing marks, including slight discolorations, hammer marks, or minor imperfections, are inherent to the handcrafting process and enhance the instrument’s distinctiveness. Gongs are measured in centimeters and converted to inches for U.S. customers, with potential size variations of up to 1 inch due to artisanal production. The metal used to create gongs starts off the same size, but size variations occur due to the individual hammering of each gong.
Similarly, other handmade instruments may exhibit variations in aesthetics, sound, or texture due to their unique, handcrafted nature. These variations are not considered defects, and Beyond Percussion does not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations based on differences between handmade instruments or deviations from customer expectations regarding their unique qualities.
Shipping Policy
Items in stock in the US are typically shipped within 2 business days of payment clearance, though processing may take up to 7 business days during peak periods. For orders within the continental U.S., delivery generally occurs within 5–7 business days following shipment. Expedited and international shipping options are available, but specific delivery dates are not guaranteed. All shipments require a signature upon delivery to ensure secure receipt. Beyond Percussion is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processes, or other external factors beyond its control.
Storage Fees
If an instrument, such as a gong, remains unclaimed for more than seven (7) calendar days after the scheduled shipping date due to unpaid shipping invoices, failure to provide a valid shipping address, or non-response to communication attempts, Beyond Percussion reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to charge a storage fee of $10 per day. Any applicable storage fees must be paid in full before the instrument is released to the customer. Beyond Percussion reserves the right to take appropriate action regarding unclaimed items after thirty (30) calendar days, with no refund or credit issued.
Limitation of Liability
Beyond Percussion is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, use, or inability to use its products, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss of income. All products are sold “as is,” and customers assume all risks associated with their use.
Warranty Disclaimer
Unless otherwise stated, Beyond Percussion provides no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Any manufacturer warranties, if applicable, are the responsibility of the customer to pursue directly with the manufacturer.

Force Majeure
Beyond Percussion is not liable for delays or failures to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, labor disputes, shipping company issues, supply chain disruptions, or governmental actions.
Terms Update Clause
Beyond Percussion reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time, at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice to customers.
