Order Placement and Payment

Custom Craftsmanship: Your made-to-order gong (including Gongland, Alchemy, and Oetken gongs) is crafted specifically to your specifications. Each gong is a unique, non-restockable item.

Final Sale: Once payment is made, the order is final. No changes, cancellations, or modifications are permitted, including in the event of price increases due to new or increased tariffs or duties.

Payment Terms: Full payment is required at the time of order placement to initiate production. Orders will not be processed until payment is received in full.

No Refunds or Exchanges: Due to the custom nature of made-to-order gongs, no refunds, exchanges, or returns are permitted.
- Shipping Fees: Your initial invoice only includes the price of your instrument and any applicable sales tax. Shipping cost, along with any additional tariffs or duties imposed after placing your order will be billed once we receive your item.
- Tariffs: If additional tariffs are imposed on products after you place your order, you will be billed the difference before your item is shipped or picked up.
Delivery Timeline

Estimated Delivery: Production and delivery take 3-6 months from the date of order confirmation. This is an estimate only, as crafting times may vary due to artisanal processes, material availability, governmental actions (e.g., tariffs), or other factors beyond our control. You will receive your estimated delivery time upon ordering, or may request it before paying your invoice.

No Guaranteed Dates: Specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. Beyond Percussion is not liable for delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping carriers, or governmental actions such as tariff implementations.

Status Updates: We will provide periodic updates on production status via email. You will be notified when your gong is ready for pickup or shipping.
Pickup and Shipping Options

Shipping Option: Gongs can be shipped to your designated address. Gongs are shipped only after full payment of shipping costs and any tariff-related price adjustments.

Shipping Cost Payment:

Once we receive your gong, we will issue an invoice for shipping costs (including handling, packaging, and carrier fees, which may reflect tariff-related increases).

The shipping invoice must be paid within 2 business days of issuance.

Shipping will not be initiated until the shipping invoice is paid in full.

Packaging for Pickup:

Gongs are not boxed for pickup. You must bring a gong bag, protective cover, blanket, or equivalent wrapping to ensure safe transport.

If you order a gong bag from Beyond Percussion, it will be available at pickup. Ensure the bag is ordered in advance to avoid delays.

Beyond Percussion is not responsible for damage to gongs during transport if adequate protection is not provided by the customer.

Storage Fees

Pickup or Shipping Delay:

If your gong is not picked up within 14 calendar days of the scheduled pickup date, or if shipping is delayed due to unpaid shipping invoices or tariff-related price adjustments, a storage fee of $10 per day (or portion thereof) will apply.

Storage fees must be paid in full before the gong is released for pickup or shipping.

Abandonment:

If the gong remains unclaimed (due to unpaid fees, missed pickups, or failure to arrange shipping) for 30 calendar days after the initial pickup or shipping notification, it may be considered abandoned.

Abandoned gongs may be resold by Beyond Percussion to recover costs. No refunds or credits will be issued for abandoned orders or associated fees.

Additional Terms

Inspection at Pickup: Customers must inspect their gong at the time of pickup to confirm its condition. No claims for damage or defects will be accepted after the gong leaves our facility, except as covered by our limited warranty (if applicable).

Shipping Damage: For shipped gongs, any damage must be reported to the carrier and Beyond Percussion within 5 days of delivery, with supporting photos and documentation. Beyond Percussion will assist with filing claims but is not liable for carrier-related damage.

Force Majeure: Beyond Percussion is not liable for delays or failures to deliver due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, or new governmental tariffs or regulations.

Ownership: Title to the gong transfers to the customer upon full payment of the order, which includes any applicable shipping or storage fees, and any tariff-related price adjustments. Until then, the gong remains the property of Beyond Percussion.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this policy will be governed by the laws of the State of California. Customers agree to resolve disputes through mediation or arbitration in San Bernardino, CA, before pursuing legal action.
